Selayang Hot Springs was discovered almost four decades ago. It is patronised mainly by the elderly as traditionally the hot spring is believed to cure skin diseases & improving blood circulation. It remains under developed and prone to periodical flooding.

The main objective of this rejuvenation project is to create a visionary green urban oasis within the heart of Majlis Selayang Township ( MPS). Our main concept is to preserve the existing hot spring pools as national heritage, creating new bathing pools with water pumped from the existing hot spring pools, remove all manmade structures such as carparks and concrete floor and replace with landscaping and natural environment. We are ecstatic that MPS approved this concept.

All the structures are elevated to avoid disturbing the natural earth; while the hot water is pumped into the new elevated structures. The project is ‘salutogenic’, where the body and spirit heals through natural hot spring water, recreated natural environment with trees sourced from neighbouring forest reserves and activities promoting active and healthy living.

This would be the only non-commercial hot spring rejuvenation project in Malaysia, where nature takes centre stage and open to the public with minimal fees.
