AR. SAIFUL ANUAR ABDUL AZIZ HAD HIS SECONDARY EDUCATION AT MARA JUNIOR SCIENCE COLLEGE, KULIM KEDAH BEFORE CONTINUING HIS A-LEVELS AT SWANSEA COLLEGE, WALES IN 1983. HE OBTAINED HIS BA (HONS) ARCHITECTURE IN 1987 AT NORTH EAST LONDON POLYTECHNIC AND HIS DIPLOMA IN ARCHITECTURE AT POLYTECHNIC OF EAST LONDON IN 1990.

HIS DESIGN PHILOSOPHY WAS INFLUENCED BY HIS TUTOR, MS CHRISTINE HAWLEY AND PETER COOK AT THE HEIGHT OF THE DECONSTRUCTIVIST ARCHITECTURAL MOVEMENT. HIS WORKS WERE REVIEWED BY COOP HIMMELBLAU IN FRANKFURT, GERMANY AND NEIL DENARI IN LONDON. HIS FINAL YEAR DESIGN THESIS; A RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT AS A SUSTAINABLE PREVENTION TO CLIFF EROSION IN EAST ANGLIA WAS AHEAD OF ITS TIME AND REVIEWED BY AN EXTERNAL EXAMINER, SIR NICHOLAS GRIMSHAW; A PROMINENT ENGLISH ARCHITECT.
